About Me

My name is Paul Pearce. I come from a family of 36 brothers and sisters. Gosh!
I hear you say? It is true but they were not all blood related. I was fortunate enough to have had parents who loved kids so much that they landed up being foster parents from when I was about 5 years old. I have gained a lot from sharing my parents and my life with so many children as it has prepared me to have that edge when working with the general public.

While growing up I was always taking photos with a small camera of some sort. As my interest grew when I took photos of Harley Davidson’s (My other passion). The bug really bit me when I got my first 2nd hand Canon SLR.I always wanted to know more about what every setting was and what the out come would be when I took the photo.

I have been working as a full time IT technician for the last 10 years and this have added to my knowledge of the digital era of photography and Photoshop.
I am self taught and I studied from lots and lots of E-Book s and did a lot of practice as this is a difficult field to get into.
I was never one for reading fiction love stories as that never captured my imagination as to what really is love. To write about it is one thing but to see it captured on a photo for the world to see and feel is what drove me to do what I do best, and that to capture love stories in colour.
I have over the last few months been mentored by a pro in the wedding photography field and in her own right she is a legend. My portfolio has grown in stature with clients ranging from weddings on a beach in Mozambique to clients from the United Kingdom.
Recently I was nominated by the editor of Digital Camera magazine in the United Kingdom as a finalist for the Photographer of the year in the Digital World category. This on its own has started to show me I have a God given talent that no one can take away from me. I have had my work displayed on other websites such as
www.macanetaislandresort.com where I did a beach wedding. I still would like to do weddings in Africa and my silent wish is maybe to do one in Ireland.
